About The Studio
I teach Pilates and Yoga with a french touch... The studio offers two spaces, a cosy and quiet indoor studio for cold or rainy days, and an outdoor deck surrounded by a beautiful garden for warmer days. Both places invite to find stillness and inner peace.

About The Teacher

Sophie Perducat-Rubi
I hold a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, one of France’s leading engineering institutions. I began my career as an ERP consultant.
In 2004, as a mother of four boys living in Beijing, China, I discovered Pilates and quickly realized that it had become an essential part of my life. This passion led me to embark on a new career as a Pilates instructor.

I trained at Isofit in Hong Kong and became a certified Polestar Pilates instructor in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, I started teaching classes in Beijing. Then, from 2008 to 2012, while living in Singapore, I founded and ran my own studio, [Pink] Pilates. Upon returning to Paris in 2012, I taught mat and reformer classes at Qee Studio and discovered Vinyasa yoga.

After relocating to Boston, MA, in 2014, I founded my new studio, SPR, where I continued to teach Pilates. At the same time, I enrolled in Down Under Yoga’s 200-hour Teacher Training, followed by a 300-hour training under the mentorship of Natasha Rizopoulos. Later, I was deeply inspired by Nicole Clark’s healing work and learned extensively through her Power of Touch mentorship. The more I studied, the more I slowed down. In search of stillness, I became a certified Relax and Renew® Level One teacher in 2020 and furthered my anatomy knowledge under the guidance of Judith H. Lasater. Since the pandemic, I have been grateful to deepen my practice and studies in Iyengar Yoga with Patricia Walden.

In 2014, I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a genetic disease that causes joint inflammation. The more I practice yoga, the less I suffer.
In September 2021, I enrolled in the 875-hour Yoga Therapy program with Breathing Deeply, where I am currently completing my practicum for certification. As part of this program, I work with clients facing a wide range of challenges, from physical pain to psychological conditions, integrating yoga postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and yogic philosophy for a holistic approach to healing.
My passion for meditation has led me to deepen my studies through two teacher trainings. The first, with Breathing Deeply, focuses on a unique 3-part meditation model designed to guide personal evolution and support others through their individual stages of development. The second training, with David Magone, emphasizes Mangalam Yantra Yoga, a Buddhist meditation practice dating back to the 10th century, and incorporates breathwork, stress inoculation, and deep relaxation techniques. These experiences have enriched my personal journey and added depth to my teaching.
In addition to working one-on-one with clients in both Pilates and Yoga Therapy, I continue to lead group classes, sharing my passion with joy and enthusiasm. My classes are fun, inclusive, and compassionate, fostering a supportive and empowering environment where students can move, breathe, and grow with confidence. Through my teaching, I invite my students to practice introspection, helping them cultivate a deeper awareness of their bodies and minds. My goal is to guide them toward a fuller, more conscious connection with themselves, allowing them to move with strength, ease, and intention.

Beyond my professional practice, I find balance and inspiration in trekking with my dogs, immersing myself in nature’s rhythms and energy, which deeply nourish my practice and teaching.

Keep breathing, keep moving!
Testimonials
About Yoga Therapy
I had the chance to benefit from Sophie Perducat's support in therapeutic yoga for 12 months, and this experience has transformed how I manage anxiety. Sophie is always attentive, never judgmental. Thanks to her gentle and caring approach, she helped me identify and integrate daily routines tailored to my needs, combining yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises. These habits have allowed me to calm both my mind and body.
Over time, these practices have become valuable allies in my daily life. Today, I feel more serene and better prepared to handle stressful situations. Even better, I haven’t had an anxiety attack in a year.
I highly recommend Sophie’s guidance to anyone looking to better manage their anxiety through natural and accessible methods. Laurent M.

About Group Classes
Best pilates class ever ! After my third pregnancy, I felt like I had lost all my strength—no energy, and constant pain in my back and shoulders. Sophie has been absolutely amazing. She tailors the exercises to suit every person’s level, corrects posture carefully, and shares invaluable advice throughout the sessions.
In just a few months, I started to notice real changes: I had more energy, regained muscle tone, and my back and shoulder pain disappeared. The Pilates classes are incredibly effective yet gentle on the body, making it the perfect way to build strength without strain.
Every session is a refreshing and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I always leave feeling recharged. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to improve their well-being! Delphine R.
